NIRBHYA Missile

Nirbhay is the long range Indian cruise subsonic missile it's developed by the defence research and development organisation we known as DRDO. The Nirbhaya is capable for  conventional and nuclear warhead. Rocket booster turbofan and turbojet engine have been used in the nirbhay missile. In the form of guidance system INS IRNSS have been used in Nirbhay missile. The first test of Nirbhay missile was on 12 March 2013 this test was unsuccessful because any hardware problem was in this missile. The velocity of Nirbhay missile is is Mach 0.7 to Mach 0.8. the Missile can be launched from multiple platforms. It is currently under development and undergoing flight trials
