Asteroid
Whenever we talk about solar system, we study only about the sun and planets. But have you thought that beyond these, there is a more interesting celestial body in the solar family.
Such as - astroid, comets, meteoroids, nebula, etc.
In this article, we will study about astroid which is an important part of our solar family.
The diameter is 525 km.
Scientists has divided them mainly into three parts for the classification of astroids.
C-type
M-type
S-type
● C -type: -
C -type is the most common variety of astroids. c-type astroids are also called carbonaceous astroid. Approximately 80% of the asteroid belt is present in the c-type asteroid belt. It is mostly made of carbon and some amount of minerals and rock. The composition of c-type asteroids is about 75% of carbon and 25% is mineral and rock. This type of asteroid is found on the outer edges of the astroid belt.
The brightest c-type so far is the Astroid 324 Bamborga. And the largest c-type astroid is 10-Higi.
● m-type:-
The asteroids of M-type are medium bright. This type of asteroids are mainly made of nickel and iron and some amount of stone is also in their composition.
The largest m-type asteroid is 16-psyche.
● s-type:-
The composition of S-type astroid is of siliconic mineralogical type. About 17% of astroid is s-type. These types of asteroids are made of iron and megnisium silicate.
The largest s-type asteroid is the 15-Yunumia which is 330 km in diameter.
This asteroid is composed of a mixture of the following astroids
3 Juno
29 amfitrit
532 harkulina
7 isis
These are the three main types of asteroids. Which are found in the asteroid belt.

"According to scientist's , it is believed that the astroids has a significant contribution to the current state of the Earth. Asteroids are small planets that are found, especially between Mars and the orbiter of Jupiter, these asteroids relove around the Sun . The orbit that revolves in the orbit is called the asteroid belt. The asteroids which are large in size are called planetoids. The largest asteroid discovered till date is the 4 vesta which was discovered in 1807, this asteroid
Scientists did a lot of reserch on astroids and say that astroid is made of minerals and rock.
